Juan was sick of F1 and BS surrounding it. He was a straight talker and no BS kinda guy. He raced during an wra when Schumacher was F1's posterchild and he called Schumacher on his dirty driving several times, like the famous "he's either blind or stupid" comment. F1 didn't like that and they were bullying him in the sport, but he absolutely was great driver and better in my opinion than Schumacher. Forget the number of titles Schumacher has, it's no different than Hamilton, right car at the right time. Senna was also way better than both of those clowns.

Think of that epic generation that came through mid way into Michaels era, that reigned at the top of the sport from the mid 00’s through to the late 10’s. Look at that 2012 grid for the best reference, you got alonso, button, hamilton, vettel, raikkonen, massa, rosberg, webber. Even the father of it all schumacher. But whose missing? Montoya , and probably kubica and heidfeld aswell, should have been a part of that legendary generation that won races and titles for over 15 years, but alas, their careers were cut short for varying reasons

Eddie is sometimes right, but sometimes he is and was saying sensational bullshits... Just few examples: - in 2000 he said that they will fight for World Championship - before 2005 season- he said Ferrari will be strong as in 2004 - totally BS, because everyone knew at that time Ferrari will have a problem with tyres, because regulation for 2005 was made intentionaly to stop domination of Michael and Ferrari - 2010 - Mercedes will be in fight for WC, ... I mean list can go on and on... Regarding Michael, Senna and Max- Max is type of driver, new generation, where you cant drive the car on total limit, second cars are not so physical, because they are saving fuel,tyres way too much after 2009 season... F1 until end of 2008 was physical, 98% of time on limit, no fake DRS overtakings (from 2011 onwards), etc... If ever F1 will return to pre 2009/2011 season without fake DRS, no fuel flow rate idiotic sensor, tyres like last 13 years, where they need to save them, and they cant drive to an absolute limit, then you can compare Max to Michael and Senna... Only Alonso and Lewis could be compared to.them - because they drove f1 cars when F1 was physical,on absolute limit, when fastest laps were NOT artificial because of fresh tyres, without BS DRS or fuel saving.. So they both drove in seasons before 2009...

I mean absolutely no offence to Stirling’s memory, but In a way it is quite a funny story as it just sounds like a scene from a Tom and Jerry or Wile E Coyote cartoon.

Stirling Moss was very stupid to get the lift from Williams Grand Prix because it was made of carbon fibre. He should have bought a lift from a company that specialises in making lifts, not racing cars.

Personally the ones that come most to mind are of course Stirling Moss, then Peterson, Villeneuve and Reutemann. They would all have deserved at least a championship.

Ronnie Peterson was the best driver to never win a championship. He finished runner up twice. Once in a March using the same engine all season! The other, as a number 2. In hindsight, he would have won the title if he didn't die that year. He was without any doubt, the out and out quickest driver, ever to sit in an F1 car. On his day, he was quicker than anyone. That includes the likes of Senna. Just ask anyone who was there. Even the other drivers were left stunned by his car control. Niki Lauda couldn't get within half a second per lap of him when they were teammates. Fittipaldi too, couldn't match him. Villeneuve was just a pale imitation of him. After causing the death of several spectators, showing off in front of Peterson, the most liked and respected driver amongst his peers, probably of all time never spoke to Villeneuve again.
